EMPATHETICALLY DESIGNED ROBOTICS
Working closely with the Chief Design Officer, we reenvisioned a fully capable artificial limb with a near-full human range of motion, mind control, and non-invasive tech, bringing modern design to consumers dissatisfied with antiquated medical devices. Balancing numerous consumer pain points with advanced technologies was both challenging and fulfilling.
Careful attention was given to the attachment mechanism, striking a balance between structural integrity and breathability. The design of the sensor attachment plays a pivotal role in enabling mind-controlled movements while ensuring comfort and exquisite aesthetics.
User testing and feedback played a vital role in refining the design, leading to the quick development of multiple high-quality prototypes.

DFM CONSIDERATION
Extensive thought and prototyping went into optimizing the integration of technology and sensors with wearable fabric that requires daily washing.
INDIVIDUAL YET MASS MANUFACTURABLE
Recognizing that each customer requires an almost customized design, I collaborated with softgoods pattern makers and integrated modern mechanical solutions to allow a broader market reach. This approach allowed our revolutionary artificial arm to provide cutting-edge prosthetic technology to a wide range of amputees and individuals with limb disabilities. Throughout the process, constant collaboration with stakeholders, external experts, and the internal team was essential. The result is a groundbreaking prosthetic that sets new standards in the field, enhancing the lives of countless people in need.
